Me and my “better half” on a trip in the Texas “Hill Country”

Me and my “better half” on a trip in the Texas “Hill Country”

My wife and I are originally from Illinois; myself a farming community and my wife from the Chicago area. We met and married after I moved to Chicago to work on my undergrad at DeVry. We moved to Arizona later with my career. We moved to the Dallas-Fort Worth area in 1997 for me to work on a Master of Theology degree at Dallas Theological Seminary. Computer work still puts the bread on the table. But, in my “spare time” I pastor a church at a retirement center in Dallas. I like to cook, study history, hike, camp, and many other things. Thus . . .the name and purpose of this blog. These are some of my favorite things to do and think about. It’s a place to share stuff I’m reading, doing, and thinking about. I hope it’s encouraging and informative. Just a note: At this time, I’m not opening these blogs for comments. If you want to ask a question or offer your opinion, you are more than welcome to email me. I will never ask you for money or to send information that is personal.
